Japanese sake tasting with a creative twist

hi, I’m Sunaina

I’m a sake sommelier, founder of Know Me Sake, and your guide for a tasting experience unlike any other.

My journey began at a tiny bar in Osaka, where I was drawn to sake bottles that I couldn’t read but somehow understood. Today, I’m a Certified Sake Professional and International Kikisake-shi, trained under Sake Samurai John Gauntner and certified by the Sake Service Institute in Japan.

With a background in global brand strategy and design, I craft sake experiences that blend sensory exploration, cultural storytelling, and playful self-discovery. Because in an age being shaped by AI, I believe human creativity, with all its quirks, is more vital than ever.

Know yourself. Know your purpose. Kanpai!

workshop experience

Curious about Japanese sake?
Curious about your creative side?

In this lively two-hour tasting, you and your guests will see, sniff, swirl, sip, and savor a delightful flight of four sakes, each one surprisingly different from the next.

We’ll fill our glasses with curiosity, say kanpai, and immerse ourselves in a vibrant spectrum of aromas, textures, and flavors.

You bring your enthusiasm. I’ll bring the art supplies. No sake expertise needed! Together, we’ll picture our strengths, imagine our superpowers, and weave playful stories.

This experience will inspire you to pick up a handful of crayons and express what makes you uniquely, colorfully, even childishly, you.
